Key Responsibilities :

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to drive the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale data pipelines. This role combines the flexibility of remote work with the advantages of in-office collaboration.

Responsibilities :

1. Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using tools such as PySpark, SQL, Hive, and Hadoop.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that support data-driven decisions.

3. Optimize and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure high performance and reliability.

4. Implement data governance and security best practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security throughout the data lifecycle.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering roles with a deep understanding of building, scaling, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure.

Technical Proficiencies :

PySpark for distributed data processing and large-scale data analytics, SQL for advanced querying and manipulation of relational databases, Hive for managing and querying large datasets stored in Hadoop, and Hadoop for distributed data storage and processing.

Additional Skills :

Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, troubleshoot, and implement effective solutions to improve workflow efficiency, attention to detail to ensure data integrity, and strong verbal and written communication skills to discuss complex data issues.
