Job Title: KG / Art Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and skilled KG / Art Teacher to join our team. As a KG / Art Teacher, you will be responsible for fostering creativity, developing fine motor skills, and encouraging children to express themselves through various artistic mediums.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach basic art concepts, such as shapes, colors, patterns, and textures, using age-appropriate techniques.
  • Plan and execute engaging art activities, including coloring, painting, drawing, crafting, and clay modeling.
  • Encourage children to use their imagination and creativity to express themselves through different art forms, fostering confidence and self-expression.
  • Prepare lessons and activities that align with the developmental needs of young children.
  • Supervise children during art sessions, ensuring they are engaged in activities while maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Implement positive discipline strategies to manage classroom behavior and ensure children are focused and respectful during activities.
  • Develop activities that enhance children's fine motor skills, such as cutting, drawing, coloring, and using various art tools.
  • Encourage hand-eye coordination through fun and simple art exercises like tracing, molding, and assembling craft projects.

  • Qualifications & Skills:
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Education, or a related field.
  • Diploma or certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is an added advantage.
  • Skills:
  • Creativity: Strong ability to create engaging and age-appropriate art lessons and activities.
  • Patience & Empathy: Ability to work with young children and provide a nurturing and encouraging environment.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with children, parents, and staff.
  • Classroom Management: Experience with managing young children and ensuring a safe, focused, and positive learning atmosphere.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prepare and organize art materials, manage time effectively, and maintain a clean, orderly classroom.
