Job Title:
Hydraulic Design Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Design Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pipeline hydraulics and experience with software used for same (Water GEMS).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Determine water requirement calculations for Water Supply Schemes & Irrigation pipe distribution network projects.
  2. Prepare zone/water user association block and chak planning of project.
  3. Design pipeline layout for Water Supply Scheme & Pressurized/Gravity pipe distribution network Irrigation Project.
  4. Perform hydraulic design on Water GEMS software for Water Supply Scheme & Pressurized/Gravity pipe distribution network Irrigation Project.
  5. Create L-sections of pipeline design on AutoCAD and E survey Software.
  6. Conduct investigations, surveys, engineering calculations, and preparation of working drawings and estimates for water supply schemes & Pressurized/Gravity pipe distribution network Irrigation Project.
  7. Develop item-wise bill of quantity for project.
  8. Estimate quantity and bar bending schedule from drawings.
  9. Obtain design approvals from government department and vetting institutes.
  10. Travel to site/government department for convincing, scrutiny, and approval.
  11. Presentation and report writing skills are necessary.

Requirements:

  • B.E. Civil/M.Tech (Water Resources/Irrigation/Environment) degree.
  • 8-10 years of experience in water supply pipeline project or Irrigation projects.
  • Knowledge of Water GEMS, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and E survey Software.
  • Familiarity with different types of pipes, valves, pumps, design manuals, and relevant IS codes.
