Hydraulic System Design Consultant

We seek a highly skilled consultant to lead the design and analysis of irrigation infrastructure such as dams, barrages, micro-irrigation systems, canal networks, and related hydraulic structures.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in civil engineering, particularly in hydraulics and water resources engineering, and will be responsible for designing and developing hydraulic structures using standard engineering codes and software.

  • Design Responsibilities:
  • Develop hydraulic profiles for efficient water distribution, including micro-irrigation system layouts and pipe network designs.
  • Create detailed drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications using AutoCAD or equivalent design tools.

Candidates should possess strong knowledge of hydraulic principles, irrigation techniques, flow analysis, and pipe hydraulics, as well as excellent technical documentation and communication skills. They should also be proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Water gem, or similar hydraulic modelling tools. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in designing and drawing dams, barrages, canals, micro-irrigation systems, and related structures.

  • Degree and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, with specialization in Hydraulics or Water Resources Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in designing and drawing dams, barrages, canals, micro-irrigation systems, and related structures.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Water gem, or similar hydraulic modelling tools.
