Concept Artist Role">

We are looking for a skilled Concept Artist to join our team. As a Concept Artist, you will be responsible for creating detailed and imaginative artwork that brings our game concept to life.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating quick and detailed drawings and paintings of environments, characters, buildings, vehicles, and props.
  • Liaising with the producer, art director, and game developer regarding the project brief.
  • Researching concept subjects, styles, and genres.
  • Responding positively and proactively to feedback.
  • Continuing to develop concepts and designs throughout the production process.
  • Utilizing traditional and technological approaches to create 2D and 3D designs through drawing and painting.
  • Explaining and pitching ideas clearly to the client and design team.
  • Adapting and refining work based on feedback.
  • Maintaining good communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements:

Qualifications include:

  • A degree in fine art is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop is essential.
  • The ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and drive to succeed.

Bonus requirements include:

  • An avid interest in gaming and mobile app development.
  • A portfolio showcasing interesting and stylized characters and environments.
  • A strong foundation in traditional arts, including color theory, figure drawing, animation, illustration, background layout, and painting.
