Why You'll Excel in This Role:

  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree in English, Media/Journalism, or a related field.
  • With 6-12 months of experience in sports content editing, proofreading, or a similar role, you've honed your skills and developed a keen eye for detail.
  • You possess a strong command of the English language and a deep understanding of American culture.
  • As a creative and analytical thinker, you'll excel at bringing energy and enthusiasm to our articles, ensuring each piece resonates with readers and leaves a lasting impression.
  • You're adept at analyzing article performance metrics and using insights to consistently elevate the quality of content.
  • With a basic understanding of SEO principles, including crafting engaging headings and subheadings, you'll be instrumental in driving our content strategy forward.
  • As a leader, you'll inspire and guide a team of talented writers, helping them grow and evolve as contributors to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Editing and publishing 18-20 high-quality articles daily, maintaining the exceptional standards of our publication.
  • Fact-checking, research, and verification ensure every article delivers value to our readers.
  • Collaborating closely with writers, editors, and content managers to refine and elevate our content, enhancing its impact and relevance.
  • Mentoring writers, empowering them to grow and develop as contributors to our team.
  • Staying on top of breaking news, ensuring our readers remain informed and up-to-date as events unfold.
  • Working six days a week, aligning with our schedule to meet the needs of our US audience.
