Ruby on Rails Developer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing new or existing web applications/APIs using Ruby on Rails.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting web applications and APIs.
  • Writing and maintaining reliable code using Ruby/Rails.
  • Integrating with data storage solutions such as databases, file storage, or object storage.
  • Creating services using microservices architecture.
  • Dockerizing the application/service.
  • Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team.
  • Connecting applications with internal or third-party systems.
Requirements:
  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails.
  • Proficiency in either Sidekiq or Shoryuken, showcasing deep understanding of background job processing.
  • Solid knowledge in React and Typescript, demonstrating ability to work with modern frontend technologies.
  • Familiarity with AWS, with specific emphasis on SQS (Simple Queue Service).

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
