We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Construction Head to lead our project development team at Mitsubishi Power India.

About the Role

As a Civil Construction Head, you will be responsible for managing the complete civil and structural related construction works from conception to completion during execution. You will work closely with our team to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will have overall responsibility for planning, coordinating, and supervising the construction activities, including site preparation, material management, labor management, and cost control. Your expertise in quantity surveying, risk analysis, and contract negotiation will be invaluable in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil engineering, project management, and construction management, with a strong background in leading cross-functional teams. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete civil and structural related construction works from conception to completion during execution.
  • Develop and implement construction schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to site personnel.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare and present project reports, including status updates, financial summaries, and risk assessments.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (B.Tech/B.E/Diploma).
  • At least 20 years of experience in a relevant and similar role, with a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and construction management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong understanding of construction regulations, safety protocols, and environmental best practices.
  • Experience with project management tools, including MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar software.
