Job Description:

Pavaman Aviation is a cutting-edge aerospace technology company focused on designing and developing advanced UAS for defense, commercial, and industrial applications.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in aircraft design, aerodynamics, CAD modeling, and systems integration.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in the design and development of fixed-wing and/or VTOL UAS platforms from concept through to prototype and production.

  • Lead and contribute to the conceptual and detailed design of UAS airframes and sub-systems.
  • Perform aerodynamic analysis and optimization of UAS configurations.
  • Design structural components and assemblies using advanced composite and lightweight materials.
  • Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
  • Work closely with electronics, propulsion, and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Conduct structural and thermal analysis (FEA, CFD) to validate design performance.
  • Participate in UAS prototyping, assembly, ground testing, and flight trials.
  • Document design processes, BOMs, and support regulatory compliance for airworthiness.

A bachelor's or master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and 2-5 years of relevant experience in UAV or aircraft design are required.

Proficiency in CAD software and strong understanding of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and structural design are also essential.
