Are you ready to take your risk management career to the next level? As a Director of Third-Party Risk Management at Thomson Reuters, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's strategic direction and driving business growth.

About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving Third-Party Risk Management capabilities across the organization. Your expertise will be instrumental in maturing the firm's control landscape, ensuring that our third-party relationships are robust, secure, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and ensure the integrity of our third-party ecosystem
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Procurement, Sourcing, Partnerships, General Counsel, Services, Technology, and Information Security functions
  • Drive the implementation of world-class quality standards across enterprise-wide services, including screening, third-party risk assessment, and remediation
  • Engage directly with business and senior management to provide guidance and recommendations on risk-related matters
  • Leverage AI and modern technologies to drive process improvements and enhance the overall risk posture of the organization
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a diverse team of subject matter experts and risk professionals, fostering their growth and development
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 15+ years of overall experience, with 10+ years of relevant risk management and third-party risk management experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role
  • A proven track record of designing and implementing third-party risk management policies and operational processes
  • Superb ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders of varying levels of seniority
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience building and leading high-performing teams
  • Natural curiosity, ability to navigate uncertainty, and deal with ambiguity
