Job Opportunity for Special Educator

Carely is a family-first disability support platform that connects children with developmental needs to trained, compassionate professionals.

Seeking a skilled and empathetic professional to work one-on-one with a child in Coimbatore. The focus of this role will be on developing functional academics, communication skills and supporting daily living activities (ADLs).

This freelance, contract-based opportunity offers flexible scheduling.

  • Design and deliver personalized special education sessions in the child's home environment.
  • Focus on building functional communication, basic literacy, and language through structured activities.
  • Support the child's independence in ADLs (e.g., dressing, eating, basic routines).
  • Conduct informal assessments to set measurable goals and track progress.
  • Develop engaging, age-appropriate learning tools and methods.
  • Maintain clear session records and update the team regularly.
  • Collaborate with parents and other therapists to ensure holistic support.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (RCI-registered preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of communication strategies and life skills training.
  • Ability to work independently in a home-based setting.
  • Respectful, non-judgmental, and family-focused approach.
