Quality Assurance Manager

Job Overview:

Leading a robust quality assurance strategy is key to delivering exceptional customer experiences. We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance and Testing Manager to spearhead the quality assurance function for our e-commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, and testing processes for our e-commerce platform and mobile applications.
  • Lead a team of manual and automation QA engineers, providing mentorship and scaling the team as needed.
  • Establish and enforce best practices in functional, regression, performance, load, security, and UAT testing.
  • Design and develop automated testing frameworks for API, web, and mobile platforms (Selenium, Appium, etc.).
  • Evaluate cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing for all UI components.
  • Collaborate with development teams in Agile/Scrum environments to ensure early and continuous testing.
  • Integrate CI/CD testing using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Oversight of the bug triage and release sign-off process, focusing on fast iteration and zero-defect releases.
  • Define, monitor, and report quality KPIs (defect leakage, code coverage, test execution rates).
Requirements:
  • Must-Have:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • 10+ years of experience in QA, with 3+ years in a leadership/managerial role.
    • Hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
    • Strong expertise in Selenium, Appium, Postman, or similar tools.
    • Experience with API testing, load testing (e.g., JMeter), and security testing.
    • Familiarity with E-commerce platforms (LARAVEL, custom stacks) or marketplaces.
    • Strong understanding of Agile development, Jira, and version control (Git).
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience in testing cloud-native apps hosted on AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, etc.).
    • Knowledge of performance monitoring tools like New Relic, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
    • Prior experience in scaling QA for startups or fast-growing digital platforms.
