Job Overview

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating scalable data platforms.

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data systems
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams using agile methodologies
  • Optimize database performance and SQL queries
Essential Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in Python programming
  • Proven track record as a data engineer or experience in data engineering projects/platforms
  • Expertise in data pipelines, methodologies, SQL, and various databases (PostgreSQL)
  • Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks (Spark) and source code management systems (GIT)
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud providers (AWS), containerization, and container orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes)
  • Working knowledge of data warehouses and ETL tools
  • Able to debug complex issues across multiple ETL platforms and databases
Success Factors
  • Understanding of routing, switching, and basic network communication protocols
  • Experience with small- to mid-sized software development projects and Agile Scrum
