Editorial Expert

Our team is responsible for managing the peer-review process and decision-making for a portfolio of over 120 journals across physical, life, and health sciences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and triage submitted manuscripts, select reviewers, assess reviewer reports, and make final decisions.
  • Collaborate with international colleagues daily and interact with authors and reviewers worldwide.
  • Acquire new content for our journals by commissioning invited articles and planning special issues or series.
  • Contribute to workflow optimization project workgroups and gain on-the-job experience in various aspects of scholarly publishing.

Requirements

  • A PhD degree, with additional postdoc experience beneficial.
  • Expertise in Clinical Cardiology, including cardiology, cardiovascular diseases, preventative or interventional cardiology, and congenital heart diseases.
  • Demonstrated passion for science and its communication, with a willingness to broaden knowledge across research areas.
  • Good understanding of the peer-review process, with self-motivation, diplomacy, and flexibility.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
