Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the port development project in Trivandrum, Kerala. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civil Engineering and 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, constructing, and managing port and marine infrastructure.

This is a unique opportunity for those with expertise in coastal and marine engineering, particularly in working on major port projects. Your extensive knowledge and proven track record will contribute significantly to the growth of key coastal infrastructure in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Construction of Breakwater Systems: Lead the design, planning, and construction of rubblemound, vertical, and hybrid breakwaters to ensure protection of port infrastructure.
  • Project Management: Oversee port expansion projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Coastal & Marine Engineering: Apply expertise in hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport to optimize breakwater and shoreline protection systems.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with government bodies, environmental agencies, contractors, and consultants to ensure the project's smooth execution and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to HSE guidelines and sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact during construction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in breakwater construction, port development, or coastal engineering projects.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing breakwater systems, including knowledge of materials, hydrodynamics, and coastal processes.
  • Ability to manage large teams and collaborate across departments to meet project goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in challenging coastal environments.
