Electronics Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer to lead the development of high-voltage design, mixed-signal systems, FPGA development, and timing, beam control, data acquisition, and power integrity.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of the founding team that will shape the architecture and culture of our organization. As an Electronics Engineer, you will work hands-on to deliver the electronics that make our Scanning Electron Microscope feel instant and synchronized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design the timing and synchronization backbone for optics, detectors, motion, and software to operate in lockstep.
  • Develop mixed-signal boards for beam control drivers, detector front-ends, data-acquisition, and robust control I/O.
  • Evaluate and ensure clean, stable power and grounding/shielding for quiet images and strong EMC behavior.
  • Provide diagnostics, fixtures, and logs to facilitate issue resolution and field-debuggability.

Requirements:

  • Experience shipping mixed-signal/FPGA systems in instruments, vision, or semiconductor/robotics gear.
  • Strong bench skills with scopes, analyzers, and bring-up; pragmatic about testability and manufacturability.
  • Collaborative and documentation-minded individual who thinks in interfaces and failure modes.

  • Deterministic, synchronized operation across subsystems.
  • Stable, low-noise performance visible in images and analytics.
  • Lossless capture during long runs and lean EMC pre-checks.
