About the Function:

The IT function at ofi is focused on driving growth through innovation strategy, and the Customer and Vendor Master Data Lead will play a critical role in this effort. This position will oversee the management and governance of customer and vendor master data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems and processes.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer and Vendor Master Data Lead to join our team. As the Customer and Vendor Master Data Lead, you will be responsible for defining and implementing customer and vendor master data standards, policies, and procedures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish data ownership roles and responsibilities, ensure compliance with data privacy requirements, and drive data quality initiatives to improve the overall quality of customer and vendor master data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement customer and vendor master data standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Establish data quality rules and KPI metrics to measure and improve the accuracy and completeness of customer and vendor masters.
  • Conduct regular data quality assessments to identify and address data inconsistencies and anomalies.
  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and retirement of customer and vendor master data records.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with business teams to understand their data requirements, IT to ensure integration across systems, and data analysts to derive meaningful insights.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the data management processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in data management, information technology, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years' experience in customer and/or vendor master data management, data governance, or related roles.
  • Good knowledge of data governance frameworks and processes, best practices, and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Ability to work with global cross-functional teams.
  • Experience of working in SAP ERP environment will be an added advantage.
