Project Coordinator Role Overview

The IT Project Coordinator will be responsible for tracking project status for the organization's IT department. This is a senior-level role that requires experience in project management, including developing best practices and tools for project planning, execution, ongoing deliverable tracking, communication, and key performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement best practices and tools for project planning, execution, project management, ongoing deliverable tracking, communication, and key performance metrics
  • Present and communicate updates on critical projects status to executives
  • Provide support to IT executives for Executive Meetings: Status Reports, IT Operating Board, and IT Advisory Board
  • Facilitate the identification and escalation of issues and risks, and manage resource capacity planning across all projects in the portfolio
  • Facilitate the audit of required project deliverables and documentation for existing projects to determine how effectively the project management process is being utilized within the organization

Requirements:

  • 12 years of experience using knowledge, process management systems (VISIO, Smart sheet, MS Projects, Excel & Power Point)
  • Industry standard Project Management Certifications such as PMP is added value
  • Min. 6 years of experience of being a business analysts' roles for IT Software and Infrastructure projects and in providing directions to various development, IT support teams

The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation and communication skills to present updates on critical projects status to executives and stakeholders.
