Job Title: Senior Accounting Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete month-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Calculate and process journal entries, analyzing variances between forecasted and actual results.
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and analytics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Support audits by providing detailed accounting information and explanations.
  • Maintain accounting repositories, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with business functions to obtain data and inputs necessary for the monthly close.
  • Participate in ongoing projects aimed at improving key corporate accounting processes.
  • Research and conclude on transactions to ensure proper accounting treatment and coding.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced skills in data analysis and visualization.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detailed-oriented with a strong focus on quality and timeliness.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience working in large ERP systems.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 4-6 years of professional experience, including time spent in a fast-paced environment.
