**Senior Associate Role Summary**

As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for providing high-quality services to our clients by valuing businesses, business interests, and intangible assets for tax and financial reporting purposes. Your expertise in analyzing historical financial and operating results will enable you to explain business trends and identify risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Valuing businesses, business interests, and intangible assets for tax and financial reporting purposes.
  • Analyzing historical financial and operating results to explain business trends and identify risks.
  • Challenging assumptions related to future financial projections and assisting in discount rate development.
  • Conducting financial statement analysis and performing market/industry research.
  • Constructing and reviewing valuation and other financial models, as well as presenting analyses to internal management and external clients.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field, with advanced degrees and certifications highly desirable.
  • At least 2 years of experience in fair value, purchase price allocation, and goodwill impairments in a public accounting, consulting, or investment banking environment.
  • Fundamental understanding of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and experience in traditional valuation methods.
  • Comprehensive experience with financial databases, financial modeling, and data analysis.
  • A track record of managing multiple high-stakes projects under tight deadlines and delivering quality work products.
