Technical Compliance Specialist

The role involves precise planning and execution of certification and compliance activities regarding regulatory frameworks such as DGCA Type Certification, CEMILAC, FAA, EASA, Green & Blue UAS, and third-party laboratory tests.

This role also involves studying and implementing various National and International regulations with respect to certification and compliance requirements of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) in Civil and Defense sectors.

The candidate will closely interact, work, and collaborate with Product management, V&V, E&E, SW, Design and Development, Prototype, production, Certification bodies, DGCA, QCI, BIS, DFI, AUVSI, CEMILAC, and external test laboratories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with internal stakeholders to obtain an in-depth understanding of the Products, test requirements; Generate the requirement proposals and execution plan along with timeline requirements.
  • Study and understand Tender Documents, Scheme Documents, Compliance Standards, Drone Rules, and generate test requirements proposal & obtain agreements with internal stakeholders.
  • Ensuring correct TC documentation, tests executions, TC audits, and cooperation with CB for expeditious releases of SoCs.
  • Work with external stakeholders like CB / ATE, DGCA, and QCI to make them understand the Product environment and compliances.
  • Effective communications and collaborations with CB, DGCA, QCI, CEMILAC, DFI, BIS etc.
  • Timely study of regulatory drafts and feedbacks in the interest of idea implementation. Study and analysis of international regulations and preparation of presentations and compliance roadmaps.
  • Creation and maintenance of Certification roadmap in cooperation with Product management and Strict adherence in execution.
  • Planning and execution of periodic internal audits to identify/analyze the compliance risks and implement mitigation measures with respective departments.
