Job Title:

We are seeking a seasoned Equipment Design Specialist to oversee the development and implementation of technical specifications for static equipment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing plants and pressure vessels, with expertise in international design codes (ASME, API, TEMA, WRC, etc.) and familiarity with codes, standards, and recommended practices for static equipment.

Responsibilities include reviewing contractual documentation, ensuring compliance with reference standards/specifications relating to static equipment, acting as project lead, and executing or supervising the overall process of defining specifications for pressure vessels.

The successful candidate will also participate in project coordination and verification activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams on requests for quotations, and provide timely updates regarding any deviations and variations.

Familiarity with technical English is essential, and the candidate must be able to independently prepare detailed drawings such as General Assembly drawings. Experience in designing pressure vessels and knowledge of at least one of the PV Elite or Compress programs are also required.

Requirements:

  • Work experience in the design and layout of plants and pressure vessels.
  • Expertise in international design codes (ASME, API, TEMA, WRC, etc.).
  • Familiarity with codes, standards, and recommended practices for static equipment.
  • Ability to develop and implement technical specifications.
  • Experience in designing pressure vessels.
  • Knowledge of at least one of the PV Elite or Compress programs.
  • Degree in engineering, preferably mechanical.
  • At least 3 years' experience in the role gained at EPC and/or engineering companies operating in the Oil & Gas and Power sector or as a Project Engineer at companies designing and constructing process and power generation equipment.
