Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux and previous experience working in a Data Centre environment. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and solving infrastructure issues, creating and maintaining documentation, and understanding all aspects of the equipment they support.

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong foundation of experience supporting servers, storage and networking technology
  • Solid knowledge of Data Centre Ecosystem (cooling, electrical, networking, and structured cabling)
  • Performance Management/Troubleshooting
  • Base Operating System Installation

Working Conditions:

The role requires working in a 24/7/365 working environment, including an on-call rostered basis shift. The ideal candidate should be able to work well under pressure and provide excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for participating in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production server hardware and software. They will also manage escalated support cases and lead appropriate internal technical resources and/or 3rd party vendors to resolution.
