Job Overview

The Assistant Engineering Manager plays a crucial role in the planning and execution of certification and compliance activities related to regulatory bodies. This position requires strong leadership skills and experience working with technical compliances.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand product requirements, generate proposal plans, and obtain agreements.
  • Study tender documents, scheme documents, and compliance standards to create test requirements proposals.
  • Ensure correct TC documentation, test executions, TC audits, and cooperation with Certification Bodies for expeditious SoC releases.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders like CB / ATE, DGCA, and QCI to understand product environments and compliances.
Key Requirements
  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Technical Compliances, with at least 5 years in the UAS industry.
  • Exceptional understanding and hands-on experience working with regulatory frameworks - National/International.
  • Proven experience with product testing, process analysis, and certification activities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and prioritization skills.
  • Flexibility to travel and work with external agencies.

This role involves close collaboration with various teams, including Product Management, V&V, E&E, SW, Design, Development, Prototype, Production, Certification bodies, DGCA, QCI, BIS, DFI, AUVSI, CEMILAC, and external test laboratories.
