Senior QA Test Engineer Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system testing strategies, including test plans, processes, scenarios, and cases;
  • Collaborate with the team to identify test cases for automation and create estimation templates;
  • Map business requirements to test results and develop scripts for each test case;
  • Execute manual or automated tests based on requirements and provide detailed reports;
  • Perform black box and white box testing as required and retest defects/bugs for certification;
  • Triaging defects and promoting fixes to higher environments;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in relevant field;
  • At least +5 years of experience in QA, Test, and development;
  • Experience with web automation tools like Selenium (Java/C#) and Playwright is a must;
  • Designing automation frameworks and Azure services knowledge is beneficial;
  • Familiarity with Jmeter and SonarQube is advantageous;
  • Strong understanding of technology environment, including Azure and MSSQL;
  • Automating native applications using TOSCA tool is highly desirable;
  • Extensive experience in financial technology and Banking & Financial domain knowledge;
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential;
  • High level maturity to guide procedures that add value and comply with CMMI requirements;
