Embedded Systems Software Architect

This role focuses on the development of software and firmware for various embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of system-on-chip design and be able to contribute to architecture roadmaps, design trade-offs, and debugging critical SW issues.

The selected individual will be part of a team that provides an uncommon exposure to multiple technology domains related to system-on-chip development. To succeed in this position, one must demonstrate motivation to influence product roadmaps and contribute directly to innovative products.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • Or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of experience in Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Required skills include knowledge of Arm CPU architecture, especially ARMv8 architecture (RISC-V expertise is a plus), familiarity with system specifications in the ARM ecosystem, and solid knowledge of embedded systems software design.

Effective problem-solving analytical skills, critical thinking, and excellent verbal and written communications skills are also essential for success in this role.
