Our company is seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of innovative memory constrained embedded systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the entire software team through the development process from collecting requirements to volume production.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Principal Engineer with a proven track record in memory constrained embedded C/C++ firmware development. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex embedded systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to plan and implement software milestones, and ensuring the overall success of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development of complex embedded systems, including architecture design, development, and testing.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to plan and implement software milestones.
  • Ensure the overall success of our products by identifying and resolving critical issues.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of our team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in memory constrained embedded C/C++ firmware development.
  • Proven track record as a SW Team Lead or Technical Lead on embedded projects.
  • Strong understanding of embedded SoC, micro-controller architecture, memory-mapped hardware interfaces, GPIOs, ISRs, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SERDES, IM-DD/Coherent DSP, Ethernet/PCIe PHYs, and/or Optical Module SW.
  • Knowledge of digital verification test flows, FPGA emulation, hardware languages such as Verilog.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, supplies, PNAs, ONTs, etc.
