About the Role

This position involves building and leading a team of technical test engineers to complement the existing System Solution Testing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for deriving and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for business regions, including customer interfaces and 3rd party components.

A major role will include defining UAT test cases for End-to-End client testing, managing client expectations, and aligning with business priorities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for End-to-End system testing of the product.
  • Develop full-scale test cases, test scenarios, and build test automation scripts to ensure efficient deliverables.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to technical testing team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Well understanding of SDLC/STLC process and its implementation in projects and its importance.
  • Identify potential risks and apply appropriate test measurements, metrices in the product and testing teams to mitigate risks.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders and delegate tasks & responsibilities to appropriate personnel as per their competencies.
  • Identify and resolve issues & conflicts within project teams.
  • Plan, schedule, and track project milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Develop and deliver project progress reports, proposals, technical documentations, and presentations.
  • Provide customer solutions, specific UAT test cases, environment, and configuration inputs to System Team and program teams for test strategy.

Requirements

  • Experience in test automation, scripting using Python/selenium.
  • Experience in metering domain with proven knowledge of Distribution Automation and DA devices.
  • Professional Experience: 7-10 years.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification - B.E/B.Tech(Electrical/Electronics or Relevant domain), M.E/M.Tech, MCA, ISTQB certified.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $120,000 - $180,000 based on industry standards and location.
