Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Professional

  • Our ideal candidate will lead end-to-end sourcing projects with a focus on value, speed, compliance, and risk management.
  • They will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, develop RFPs/RFXs, and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Ensuring compliance with controls, audits, and regulatory obligations across sourcing cycles is essential.
  • Strategic sourcing professionals must also manage contract remediation, including data privacy, OCIR, and country-specific terms.
  • They should have expertise in negotiating and overseeing third-party supplier control obligations (SCOs) and support stakeholders with vendor engagement risks.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and buying channel optimization is critical.
  • Our team expects our sourcing professional to stay ahead of industry trends and sourcing best practices to strengthen category management.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in sourcing/procurement, preferably in technology procurement within financial services.
  • Strong expertise in RFPs, contract negotiations, vendor management, and compliance is required.
  • Proven experience in contractual review and redlining is expected.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across divisions, are necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills are vital.
  • Leadership qualities to set objectives, coach teams, and drive operational effectiveness are essential.

Preferred Skills

  • A background in operational/core sourcing teams in technology is beneficial.
  • Regulatory remediation experience, including data privacy and OCIR, is desirable.
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks and governance practices is advantageous.
