Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure adherence to established procedures and protocols.
  2. Enhance data quality and operational efficiency.
  3. Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  4. Provide regular updates on flight details and status reports to relevant parties.
  5. Verify accurate shipment charges.
  6. Supply export information as required.
  7. Register export shipments and transport collections.
  8. Liaise with warehouse, transporters, Customs House Agents, and port staff to ensure smooth logistics.
  9. Manage export freight bookings and complete relevant data entry procedures.
  10. Send pre-alerts and track shipments.
  11. Prepare air waybills daily and perform booking and optimization tasks.
  12. Distribute export documents to carriers and consignees.
  13. The ideal candidate should possess 2-3 years of experience in handling air export functions.
  14. Must be able to work in a fast-paced office environment.
  15. Candidate should possess a strong team work attitude.
  16. Billing for air bills in a timely manner.
  17. Communicate with airlines to ensure prompt pick-up and delivery of shipments.
  18. Arrange same-day deliveries whenever possible.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Previous air and export experience required.
  2. Acceptable PC knowledge.
  3. Knowledge of air space configurations.
  4. Ability to perform mathematical calculations using units of currency, weight, volume, and distance measurements.
  5. DGR certification is preferred.

Academic Qualifications:

  1. Should have 4-5 years' experience with any MNC company, handling Freight Forwarding activities and DG Bookings.
  2. Good contact with liners, co-loaders, CFS & Port to handle shipments smoothly.
  3. Technical skills: Operating systems - Internal & External parties & computer language skills.
  4. Good communication, interpersonal skills.
  5. DG experience will be an added advantage.

  3. Adaptability and a go-getter attitude.
  4. Good interpersonal skills and analytical bent of mind.
  5. Good communication and presentation skills.
  6. Good knowledge of MS Office.
