Key Responsibilities- Prepare and dispense medications to customers, as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor customers' drug therapies, provide interventions, and inform them of potential side effects.
- Provide guidance to customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.
- Conduct health and wellness screenings to ensure customers receive optimal care.
- Administer immunizations and other medical services, such as taking blood pressure, temperature measurements, and checking blood sugar levels.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all applicable regulations and guidelines.
- Perform operational tasks, including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, charges, and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from inventory.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
- Pharmaceutical expertise and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
