Principal Fleet Optimization Specialist

The primary function of this role is to optimize fleet performance by ensuring the overall efficiency and reliability of the systems.
- Schedule and Maintenance Planning: Developing proactive maintenance schedules, reviewing and updating procedures to ensure optimal system functionality.
- System Checks: Regularly inspecting all components to guarantee correct functioning and identify potential issues early on.
- Training and Development: Providing coaching and mentoring opportunities for junior technicians or new employees, staying current with the latest technologies and methodologies in maintenance.
- Inventory Management: Effectively managing spare parts and tools inventory to ensure availability of necessary components for sudden repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Offering technical assistance to teams or fleet owners, diagnosing and resolving issues when engines are not in active use.
- Compliance and Safety Checks: Maintaining records of safety checks and compliance documentation, conducting regular audits to implement necessary changes.
- Project Coordination: Leading or participating in special projects related to engine systems, coordinating efforts with various departments to achieve project objectives and monitoring progress for necessary adjustments.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilizing data to refine maintenance strategies and operational efficiency, identifying trends or patterns that may indicate potential future issues.
- Tracking Machine Performance: Analyzing KPI dashboards, daily shift reports, trackers, and compliance metrics to ensure timely issue resolution and implementation of best practices.
- Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintaining up-to-date statutory documents and presentations for reviews and compliances.
