Job Summary:

The role of a Senior Manager - Infra/Cloud Architect involves leading the development and implementation of an organization's global IT infrastructure and cloud landscape. This encompasses strategic design, roadmap definition, and engineering governance to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the global infrastructure and cloud architecture blueprint.
  • Prioritize designs to align with business continuity, scalability, cybersecurity, and performance objectives.
  • Promote platform rationalization and simplification initiatives.
Solution Design & Project Enablement:
  • Design infrastructure solutions for large-scale programs, such as data center transformation, Active Directory consolidation, and hybrid cloud migration.
  • Review and approve high-level designs (HLDs), low-level designs (LLDs), and bills of materials (BoMs) submitted by partners or internal teams.
  • Ensure architecture compliance in global IT projects.
Technology Evaluation & Adoption:
  • Evaluate emerging technologies like Zero Trust, SD-WAN, SASE, Edge Computing, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Develop proof-of-concept initiatives and oversee technology onboarding.
Architecture Governance & Standards:
  • Establish and enforce architecture principles, standards, and reference models.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and design approval boards.
  • Ensure adherence to InfoSec, GxP, and SOX frameworks.
Collaboration & Knowledge Enablement:
  • Partner with delivery, cybersecurity, and service teams to translate designs into build/run.
  • Mentor engineering teams and upskill delivery units on architectural best practices.
