Job Description:

The successful candidate will lead a team of technical professionals responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting issues within our global VOIP and Mobile networks. This is an experienced and highly technical role that provides critical support to our customers and network operations as part of a 24x7x365 Network Operations Center (NOC).

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading staff responsible for responding to customer inquiries, generating trouble tickets and performing follow-ups with customers, by tracking activity and productivity through key performance indicator (KPI) report monitoring
  • Overseeing NOC floor operations schedule and troubleshooting the network alarms using industry standard monitoring tools
  • Managing daily NOC floor operations and ensuring proper shift handover occurs within rotational shifts
  • Responding to customer inquiries and issues by recording details in the ticketing system and keeping customers updated on problem resolution
  • Ensuring all faults or abnormal behavior in the networks are tracked through trouble tickets and assigned to the right person at the right time, resolving issues within service level agreements (SLA) and operational level agreements (OLA)
  • Providing leadership and management across multiple shifts of coverage where employees monitor network performance and its component systems
  • Lead efforts to reconfigure and restore network equipment
  • Review network problems through real-time monitoring; initiate repair work and reconfigurations
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field with equivalent experience in the telecommunications industry; master's degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC), Call Center (CC), Support Center (SC), ISP, or Networking Company
  • Proven ability to learn technology through industry recognized certifications like Cisco CCNA, CVOICE (VoIP) certifications or related disciplines strongly preferred
