About the Job

A Senior/Staff Platform Software Engineer will design, develop, and implement scalable SaaS applications. They will be responsible for overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring that product features meet business requirements.

  • Develop high-performance software for critical business processes.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain core system components.
  • Deliver end-to-end solutions for new features and functionality.
  • Debug and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and generate ideas.
Responsibilities and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 10 years of experience in product engineering.
  • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Extensive experience working with distributed systems and high-throughput data pipelines.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin or Java.
  • Strong knowledge of Kafka and Spring Boot.
  • Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, design, and debugging skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with common dev ops tools is a plus.
