Accounts Payable Manager Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient professional to manage accounts payable for U.S.-based real estate properties. This role involves processing high volumes of transactions accurately, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with U.S. accounting principles.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. A background in real estate is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transaction Processing: Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments with accuracy and compliance.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor onboarding, updates, and issue resolution.
  • Reconciliation and Compliance: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies, ensuring adherence to U.S. GAAP and IRS regulations.
  • Supportive Functions: Support month-end close, accruals, and reporting activities, as well as collaborate with property managers and internal teams for invoice coding and approvals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably with U.S.-based accounting exposure.
  • Experience in the U.S. real estate sector is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; Yardi experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and IRS regulations related to AP.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
