Job Title: Communications Specialist

Manage client expectations, ensure client satisfaction, and provide timely information about new promotional opportunities and PR campaign progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise daily with clients and the media via telephone and email to build strong relationships and networks.
  • Monitor traditional and digital media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, social media, podcasts, blogs, and newswires to track opportunities.
  • Collate, analyse, and evaluate media coverage to inform PR strategies.
Media Outreach & Campaign Execution:
  • Plan publicity strategies and campaigns to achieve quarterly goals.
  • Prepare briefs, scripts, campaign taglines, and responses for interviews to support effective communication.
  • Write and disseminate press releases, articles, and features to targeted media outlets.
Event Planning & Management:
  • Organize and manage press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours, and visits to foster positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Attend and promote client events to media and PR platforms to increase visibility.
Business Development & Partnerships:
  • Develop and foster relationships with brands and third parties on behalf of the organization to drive business growth.
  • Develop quarterly and annual roadmaps in line with client business goals to ensure alignment.
Influencer & Thought Leadership Engagement:
  • Build relationships with industry leaders to grow awareness and drive thought leadership.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and influencer activities to inform strategy.
Research & Analysis:
  • Commission and undertake market research to inform PR strategies and recommendations.
  • Present research findings to potential clients to support business development.
Team Collaboration:
  • Motivate the team and encourage a friendly, open work environment to foster collaboration.
  • Maintain a network of resources to deploy when needed to support team success.
