We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to work remotely from India with a US client. This role requires immediate start.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • AI/ML Expertise: 2+ years of hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) required.
  • Production Deployment: At least one AI system currently running in production.
  • LLM Framework Experience: Familiarity with LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
  • Function Calling/Tool Use: Ability to build AI systems that can call external APIs and functions.
  • Prompt Engineering: Understanding of techniques like Chain-of-Thought and ReAct patterns.

Python Development: 3+ years of Python development experience with strong fundamentals.

  • API Development: Building REST services using Flask or FastAPI.
  • Async Programming: Understanding of async/await patterns for concurrent operations.
  • Database Integration: Working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.
  • JSON/REST APIs: Consuming and building REST services.

Production Systems: 2+ years of building production software that serves real users.

  • Error Handling and Logging: Building robust systems that handle failures gracefully.
  • Cloud Deployment: Basic cloud deployment experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Git/Version Control: Collaborative development using Git workflows.
  • Testing Fundamentals: Unit testing and integration testing practices.

Business Process: User requirements, data quality, and exception handling skills required.

  • User Requirements: Translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Data Quality: Recognizing and handling dirty/inconsistent data.
  • Exception Handling: Designing workflows for edge cases and errors.

Software Engineering: 3+ years of total software development experience.

  • Production AI Project: At least one AI/ML system deployed to production.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues.

Communication & Collaboration: Technical documentation, stakeholder communication, independent work, and learning agility required.

  • Technical Documentation: Writing clear technical docs and code comments.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Explaining technical concepts to business users.
  • Independent Work: Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Learning Agility: Quickly picking up new technologies and frameworks.

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field required.

  • Formal Education: OR equivalent experience with demonstrable technical skills through projects/work.

Demonstrable Skills: Portfolio requirements include a working AI application, Python projects, production deployment, and problem-solving ability.

  • Working AI Application: GitHub repo or live demo of LLM integration.
  • Python Projects: Code samples showing API development and data processing.
  • Production Deployment: Any application currently running and serving users.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Examples of debugging complex issues or optimizing performance.

Nice to Have: Financial services or fintech experience, vector databases experience, Docker/containerization knowledge, and advanced ML/AI education or certifications.
