Senior Data Analyst Job Description

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving business decisions through data-driven insights. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation, testing, and adoption of new solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of internal stakeholders' data and analytical needs, with a focus on customer-facing leadership models. You will partner with cross-functional teams to integrate local customer insights into strategic planning and resource allocation decisions.

Key responsibilities include developing and deploying new analytical tools and capabilities across the organization, introducing advanced analytical practices to establish and maintain a competitive advantage, and communicating findings effectively through clear presentations and multiple communication channels.

To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline and minimum 2+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Healthcare analytics or secondary data analysis. Proficiency in PySpark, Python, R, and SQL is essential, along with hands-on experience with platforms such as Databricks.

Strong organizational and time management skills are also crucial, as well as proven expertise in handling and analyzing large-scale secondary transactional databases. Solid background in statistical analysis and modeling is a must.
