Our team is seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to lead our backend development efforts. This role will focus on driving technical excellence, ensuring high-quality code and efficient system design.

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain a strong engineering culture that fosters collaboration and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop and manage budgets for projects and initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach engineers to help them grow professionally and develop their skills.
  • Foster open communication and transparency across the organization.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in software development or engineering management.
  • Strong knowledge of software design patterns, architecture, and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience as an engineering manager or similar role.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, monitoring, and scaling distributed systems.
