We seek a skilled professional to create high-quality, responsive WordPress websites from Figma designs.

This role involves translating designs into functional builds while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be proficient in WordPress, Figma, and related technologies.

The selected individual will work closely with our team to deliver well-structured, performant websites that balance design, usability, and functionality.

Responsibilities:
  • Translate Figma designs into clean, functional WordPress websites.
  • Ensure all websites are responsive, cross-browser compatible, and true to design.
  • Collaborate with the team to discuss requirements, clarify tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Manage deployments, troubleshoot hosting/DNS/SSL issues, and ensure smooth launches.
  • Debug, test, and fix errors efficiently while maintaining clean code.
  • Optimize websites for speed, accessibility, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Work with plugins, integrations, and occasional custom development (PHP/MySQL, APIs).
  • Communicate progress regularly and respond promptly to messages.
Requirements & Skills:

Technical Expertise

  • Strong proficiency in WordPress (themes, child themes, plugins, custom post types).
  • Proficiency in Figma and its application in web development.
  • Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, or Gutenberg).
  • Experience with deployment skills (staging → production, DNS, SSL, backups).
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Trello, Asana, ClickUp, or Jira).

Design & UX Awareness

  • Ability to translate designs into clean, functional builds.
  • Understanding of UX principles and accessibility best practices.
  • Attention to detail — ensuring designs are implemented precisely.

  • Performance optimization (caching, image compression, clean code).
  • SEO fundamentals (analytics tags, semantic structure, meta tags, alt text, headings).
