Financial Accounting Specialist - Lease Compliance Expert

The primary objective of this role is to provide technical expertise in SAP Financial Accounting, specifically in the area of lease compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting principles, with a focus on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS16) and local GAAP valuation principles.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and configuring SAP solutions to meet business needs, with a focus on lease accounting compliance.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather business requirements, conduct gap analysis, and develop solution plans.
  • Leading discussions with functional teams to ensure effective implementation of SAP solutions.
  • Developing business process documents, key data structures, functional specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Implementing unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and data migration activities.

Desirable skills for this role include:

  • Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules, such as SAP MM, SD, or CO.
  • Experience working with S/4HANA environments.
  • Understanding of automation tools or accelerators for lease accounting compliance.
