Junior Civil Engineer Role

This position plays a vital part in the planning, execution, and supervision of construction projects. Responsibilities include site supervision, quality checks, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with contractors, vendors, and the project team to ensure timely completion of projects as per design and quality standards.

  1. Site Supervision & Execution
  • Monitor day-to-day construction activities on-site.
  • Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, designs, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and workers to ensure smooth workflow.
  1. Quality & Safety Compliance
  • Conduct quality checks on materials and workmanship.
  • Ensure safety standards are followed at the construction site.
  • Report any issues or deviations immediately to the Senior Engineer.
  1. Planning & Reporting
  • Assist in preparing daily progress reports.
  • Track material usage and requirements for ongoing work.
  • Support in preparing BOQs (Bills of Quantities), estimates, and project documentation.
  1. Team Coordination
  • Work closely with Senior Engineers, Architects, and Project Managers.
  • Provide technical support to site workers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to resolve issues.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings & AutoCAD
  • Excellent problem-solving & analytical skills
  • Strong communication & team coordination abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Qualifications and Experience
  • Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in civil construction projects
  • Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD; familiarity with project management tools is an advantage
