Medical Communications Lead Role

We are seeking a skilled medical communications professional to lead our content development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding cross-functional teams on scope of work, researching and writing medical communication materials, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Development: Develop high-quality medical communication materials, including scientific manuscripts, marketing collateral, and educational content, while adhering to industry guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Scientific Accuracy: Maintain a deep understanding of medical science and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and scientific rigor of all content.
  • Audience Adaptation: Write, adapt, and customize content for diverse target audiences, including healthcare professionals, patients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical experts, graphic designers, digital coding experts, project managers, and clients.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all content meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.
  • People & Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback from clients and internal stakeholders to continually improve and refine content.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, pharmacy)
  • 5+ years of experience in medical communications, medical writing, or a related field and 2+ years as people manager/team lead
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Proficiency with industry-specific software and tools
  • Strong attention to detail
