Fire TV Quality Assurance Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Fire TV team as a Quality Assurance Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality experience for our customers.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer on our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from testing and debugging to implementing new features and improving existing ones. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, product management, and user experience design.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in quality assurance engineering principles and practices, including manual and automated testing, test planning, and test execution. You should also have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure high-quality products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test requirements
  • Develop and maintain automated tests using scripting tools and/or user-level automated tools
  • Debug problems using log files and write automated tests
  • Contribute to code level tests, test execution, and reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
  • Experience in manual testing
  • Experience in automation testing
  • Experience scripting or coding
  • Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
