BIM Engineer Position

As a BIM engineer, you will be responsible for creating construction drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent software. This involves setting up projects, creating parametric families and managing the Revit server from a production perspective.

Key tasks include completing attachment and detail markups for company products, translating less specific design direction into functional documents and implementing BIM best practices including LOD standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of construction processes and industry standards. They should also possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills as well as being detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Set up projects, create parametric families, provide materials and manage the Revit server from a production perspective.
  • Complete attachment and detail markups for company products.
  • Translate less specific design direction into functional documents.
  • BIM Modelling:
  • Create 3D BIM models using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).
  • Implement BIM best practices, including LOD standards.
  • Perform clash detection and resolution to identify and resolve design conflicts.
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure seamless integration of all building systems.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in BIM modelling and coordination.
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bluebeam review of drawings.

Education:

Relevant degree in Architecture field.
