About this Role

We are seeking an exceptional Data Transformation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data warehousing group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data transformation processes using Snowflake.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and the ability to stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Snowflake and data transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize data transformation processes using Snowflake.
  • Utilize SQL scripting to implement complex queries and data transformations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Develop, test, and deploy data models and transformations using dbt Cloud.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub, to automate workflows.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and performance across all solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processes and workflows.
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
  • Lead or participate in data migration projects, ensuring seamless data transfer and integration.
  • Utilize agile systems to manage tasks and collaborate with teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake and data transformation concepts.
  • Excellent SQL scripting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with dbt Cloud and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
