Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and reliability of accounting software through thorough testing.

This role bridges the gap between technical testing and accounting expertise, requiring a strong understanding of financial systems and software functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review business and accounting requirements to design and execute test cases for accounting software.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Taxation, and Payroll.
  • Validate that double-entry bookkeeping principles are applied correctly across all transactions.
  • Ensure accurate posting, balancing, and reconciliation of ledgers.
  • Test compliance with relevant tax rules and regulations.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution with the development team.
