Software Quality Assurance Professional

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in software quality assurance practices and hands-on experience in testing enterprise-level applications. This role is crucial in ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning & Documentation:
    • Develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases based on project requirements.
    • Ensure thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Maintain clear documentation for all test processes and outcomes.
  • Test Execution:
    • Conduct manual and automated testing including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
    • Accurately log test results and report bugs or issues with precision.
  • Defect Management:
    • Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as JIRA or similar.
    • Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve issues.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
    • Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders.
  • Automation & Tools:
    • Develop and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
    • Support ongoing improvement of the test automation framework and tools.
  • Process Improvement & Best Practices:
    • Adhere to QA standards and best practices.
    • Contribute ideas for improving testing efficiency and product quality.
    Required Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  2. Around 3 years of experience in software testing.
  3. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  4. Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
  5. Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  6. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.
Preferred Skills:
  1. Basic knowledge of Java or similar programming languages.
  2. Experience with enterprise-grade applications.
  3. Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
  4. Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
