Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate designs, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
  • Participate in planning, implementing, and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution.
  • Coordinate design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment, and finished products.
  • Assist with analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary.
  • Develop methods for testing, sampling, and training.
  • May act as an internal consultant by providing technical guidance on complex projects.
  • Work with quality inspection supervisors to train and oversee inspectors in their use of control forms, procedures, and correcting quality problems.

Requirements:

  • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelor's degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Strong communication skills; oral, written, and presentation.
  • Strong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve results.
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
  • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including suppliers and/or external customers.

In this position, reporting to the Global Quality Centre of excellence, you will ensure that projects comply with the applied standard:

  • Perform internal technical audits against the standards, this applies globally across Sensata projects for Auto and Heavy Vehicle / Off Road projects.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering project teams so they can better understand compliance issues and assessment findings.
  • Track non-conformances to closure.
  • Escalation of non-conformances as required.
  • Driving the standardization and harmonization of the internal processes, including cybersecurity, functional safety, APICE, IATF, TiSAX, etc. to continuously improve and deploy best practices for Functional Safety and Cybersecurity.
  • Support external cybersecurity product audits and assessments.

The audit ensures that projects have complied with the relevant standard and are a key input to the functional safety/cybersecurity assessments.
